Information We Collect
Our apps are designed to minimize data collection. The data handled by our apps falls into two categories:
Data Stored On Your Device
- Shoe and gear data you enter manually (shoe name, brand, purchase date, mileage thresholds).
- App preferences and settings.
This data is stored locally on your device and, if you have iCloud enabled, synced to your private iCloud account. We never have access to this data.
Apple Health Data
Apps that integrate with Apple HealthKit (such as Shoe Mileage Tracker) request read-only access to specific health metrics (e.g., walking distance, running distance). This data:
- Is accessed only on your device.
- Is never transmitted to our servers or any third party.
- Is never written back to HealthKit.
- Is used solely to provide the features you requested within the app.
Data We Do Not Collect
We do not collect, store, or transmit:
- Personal identification information (name, email, phone number).
- Location data.
- Device identifiers or advertising IDs.
- Crash logs or analytics without your explicit consent.
- Any HealthKit data outside of your device.
Third-Party Services
Our apps do not include third-party advertising SDKs, analytics platforms, or social media integrations. Your data is never shared with or sold to third parties.
iCloud Sync
If you use iCloud sync within our apps, your data is synced via Apple’s CloudKit infrastructure under your personal Apple ID. This sync is governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy. We have no access to your iCloud data.
Children’s Privacy
Our apps are not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of our apps after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
